You can't beat Harlequin for quality
Harlequin tanks continue to be featured in home style magazines, at exhibitions and agricultural shows all around the country. They have a proven track record for strength and durability - backed with the Harlequin ten year guarantee. More and more home owners, farmers and commercial users are choosing Harlequin. It's the choice you can't beat.
When you choose a Harlequin tank you know you can install it and forget it. There's no need to paint or protect it from the elements - every tank is manufactured from top quality, medium density polyethylene. Harlequin use a rotational moulding process to form the tanks in one piece. This creates a stress-free container that has a uniform wall thickness throughout. Unlike other processes, this means it has tremendous resistance to any form of cracking or splitting.
Installation is easy, because these tanks are around half the weight of an old style metal tank. And there's no need to build supporting piers -the tanks can be placed directly onto any flat concrete surface. They will never rot or rust. You can even have your tank installed below the level of your boiler by using a low-cost Tigerloop.
Each tank has an sealed aperture ready to accept an Oil Watchman sensing probe that will advise you remotely of the level of fuel in your tank.
A tank for every location
Harlequin have the widest range of tanks on the market. The slimline R1225 will easily fit into narrow spaces, less than a metre wide. If you are looking for a tank that's easy to conceal behind a low wall or bush, you may choose the low-profile LP1200 - less than a metre high! Whatever the space.
Tanks to suit a cottage or a manor house
Whatever the size or style of your home you'll find a Harlequin tank that suits your needs. All the tanks in our range are smartly finished in a natural forest green. They blend easily into the background greenery of your garden or you can choose to conceal them behind a shrub or hedge.
The widest range of tanks for home or business
These tough vertical tanks can hold up to 10,000 litres. Their ribbed design reinforces them and makes them very strong. The larger sizes are perfect for agricultural or industrial use and they can be used to store drinking water, molasses, many chemicals, kerosene or diesel.
Double walled protection against pollution
These bunded tanks are totally enclosed by twin walls of polyethylene. Even if the inner wall should be penetrated, the outer wall will safely capture more than the entire contents of the inner tank and protect the environment from pollution. That makes these Harlequin bunded tanks ideal for use close to waterways and on agricultural land.
All bunded tanks comply with the bunding capacity requirements of BS5410 Part 1 and meet the bunding recommendations of OFTEC (Oil Firing Technical Association for the Petroleum Industry).

Installing a Harlequin tank is easy
The base of the tank should be supported by a firm flat surface extending out 300mm from the tank on all sides. Where piers are used ensure firstly that they are sound. Then place concrete lintels across them putting paving slabs on top to form a firm flat surface. Where the tank is to be installed below the level of the burner a two pipe system can be used, but a single pipe system with a Tigerloop is recommended.
Check your tank's level from indoors
The Oil Watchman plugs into an electrical socket inside the house. A radio signal from a probe in the storage tank activates its display to show the level of oil. The digital display changes from F when full to 0 when nearly empty. When the level is low, a red warning light flashes. The Oil Watchman is a breakthrough in technology, is easy to install, helps plan fuel deliveries, fits most standard tanks and also comes with a 12 month guarantee.
Install your tank at any level
The Tigerloop separates air from heating oil and removes the need for a return pipe to the tank. You can place the tank below the level of the burner without the need for piers. With a Tigerloop there is less sludge in the system which reduces nozzle clogging. Fault-finding is easier because you can see the oil flow in the Tigerloop.
